Our eyes!

Celebrities are know for their idiosyncrasies. Normally we either 1) don’t pay any attention to them or 2) we’re all over said quirk if it’s over cars. Sadly, today’s the latter. The latest celebrity to make questionable vehicular choices is British starlet Katie Price, who regularly goes by the name Jordan and has been a topless model, book writer, and television star since 1996. Price tweeted earlier today that she’s come into possession of a Bugatti Veyron, and she intends to color match it with the rest of her expensive car fleet. Now, celebrities do this all the time and it usually isn’t a problem (American rapper Birdman paints all of his cars bright white, for an example). The problem is, Jordan’s favorite color is bright pink. No joke: Price’s Veyron 16.4 Coupe, with red body panels and a silver roof and bumpers, is going to get sprayed the color of Pepto Bismol. To view this sacriledge, check out Fashion Hurts? In conclusion there is reason to believe that although the Bank Of Englands model is the base model for many other central banks around the world its lack of regulation and control is questionable.

Payment Protection InsuranceIt is the bank of the government and the lender of last resorts.

Comparing the chinese central bank and the responsibilities it holds and shows that the chinese model of banking where the state is controlling the majority of it is more succesfull in terms that there are more closely monitored as they are open to scrutiny if they show any signs of failure and as a result could loose their position as government.

How ever some might argue that is so much state control and ownership that good.

The British banking industry is booming with firms and as a result competition is tight resulting in the consumer getting a better deal where as the consumer in china is much worse off due to the lack of competition.

Saudi Women for Driving, an activist group who wants the ban lifted, has been making bold moves to have its voice heard.

Last month, they targeted Subaru to stop selling cars in the country, presumably because the automaker has increasingly marketed and catered to increasing number of women car shoppers. The group received an even bigger boost in the form of female U.S. Senators who are demanding Saudi leaders to lift the ban. A total of 14 senators from both sides of the aisle recently pled their case in a letter to King Abdullah. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) wrote “The prohibition on women driving motor vehicles, even in cases of emergency, makes it impossible for citizens to exercise a basic human right.”Check out the full story at Female U.S. Senators Join Fight To Allow Women In Saudi Arabia To Drive

While Toyota detailed alot of its Camry at this week’s launch, one little tidbit left to the wayside until now is the availability of HD Radio for the 2012 model.

HD Radio works much the same as normal radio. Like normal radio, it’s free to use, and it can be received by anyone with an HD Radio receiver. It usually provides stations with an extra frequency to play more diverse music, with less commercials than would normally be found on traditional FM/AM radio. Toyota’s 2012 Camry isn’t the only midsize family sedan with HD radio though; Ford currently offers HD Radio on the Fusion (among other things), while Hyundai and Kia offer it on the 2012 Sonata and Optima.

On it’s opening day of release, the first Die Hard movie in over ten years has made $9.1 million for it’s Wednesday debut. You might think that sounds kinda low but it actually ain’t too bad for a Wednesday opening and it’s the sort of opening that was probably expected.

The bad news for 20th Century Fox and they have indeed known this for a while now is that Pixar’s Ratatouille opens on Friday and then of course Transformers opens next Tuesday.

Tough, tough competition for Die Hard and does anyone really expect it to come out on top this weekend?

This is a continuation in my summary series based on an in-depth report that was issued by Motorwatch in 2008 on the proper navigation of steeper grades in your RV.? In this article, we summarize the highlights of proper operation of the cruise control.? The cruise control is a wonderful device that can help you maintain a steady, consistent speed.? However, cruise control is less effective, and even dangerous to use, in heavy traffic or in other situations when speeds change frequently.? Never use your cruise control to help maintain speed on a? steep or long downgrade. Many of the earlier cruise control systems were designed to utilize only about 80 percent of the throttle or accelerator capability.? On occasion, the system doesn’t allow the accelerator to go to the full fuel or come back to the no-fuel positions.? On a steep grade, those vehicles equipped with a diesel engine wouldn’t engage the engine or exhaust brake. ?Owners of later vehicles equipped ... read more

Original article was accidentally deleted and is now in the vast abyss of the Internet Afterlife. Fuck!

It was a long ass article telling you that Orlando Bloom had dropped out of An Education, the Nick Horny scripted movie which began shooting today. His replacement is Dominic Cooper. All this is detailed in Coming Soon.

The other tidbit and far more juicy news was that Bloom was instead to star in a remake of Jean-Pierre Melville’s stylish classic movie The Red Circle, a news which really bugged and irritated me actually. The remake is to be shot from Korean maestro director Johnny To.

You can find more out about the original classic HERE.

Don’t you just hating losing long-ass articles?

Can’t believe they are remaking this great film.
